EP highlights Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Climate Crisis
Brussels, July 15 (Hibya) - The European Parliament (EP) stated that the European Union's (EU) Global Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Climate Crisis commemorates those who have lost their lives due to the climate crisis and those affected by it.
The European Parliament (EP) issued a statement on the occasion of the European Union's (EU) Global Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Climate Crisis.
The European Parliament said, "The EU's Global Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Climate Crisis commemorates those who have lost their lives due to the climate crisis and all those affected by it."
The statement noted that Europe experienced its third warmest spring on record in 2026 and recalled that the European Parliament held a session last week on measures to address heatwaves and wildfires.
