Fletcher: We discussed our partnership on global disaster preparedness with Prime Minister Sharif
Islamabad, July 15 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss diplomatic efforts in the Middle East and humanitarian assistance.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher said he had a productive meeting with Prime Minister Sharif.
Fletcher said the meeting covered intensive diplomatic efforts regarding the Middle East, humanitarian aid convoys crossing the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and their partnership on global disaster preparedness. "We discussed the intensive diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, humanitarian aid convoys at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and our partnership on global disaster preparedness," he said.
