EU High Representative Borrell visits Djibouti desalination plant
Brussels, July 8 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell visited the EU-funded desalination plant in Djibouti.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Borrell visited the EU-funded desalination plant in Djibouti, which currently provides 30 percent of the population with drinking water.
Borrell noted that they aim to double the capacity and invest in a fully solar-powered production system by 2028.
