European Parliament President Metsola hosts former presidents
Brussels, June 2 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola welcomed former presidents who previously served the Parliament in Brussels.
European Parliament President Metsola hosted five former presidents of the European Parliament in Brussels.
In a social media post, Metsola said that the former presidents had played an important role in shaping the Parliament and strengthening European democracy.
In her post, Metsola stated, “Thank you for your service,” and emphasized that the European Parliament continues to play a central role in European democracy.
