European Parliament supports the people of Iran
Brussels, February 12 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola reiterated the European Parliament's support for the people of Iran.
European Parliament President Metsola pointed out that the European Parliament has sent a strong, clear, and unwavering message of support to the people of Iran.
Metsola said that European Parliament members voted overwhelmingly to call for the immediate end to the brutal violence by the Iranian regime and the release of all political prisoners. "Sanctions against members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps must be fully applied. No excuse, no justification will be accepted. Iran will be free," she said.
