New York, July 10 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Humanitarian Coordinator Tom Fletcher made a statement on the humanitarian response efforts following the earthquake in Venezuela.
United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator Tom Fletcher provided an assessment of the earthquake response in Playa Grande, located in Venezuela's La Guaira state.
Fletcher said humanitarian teams have been working around the clock throughout the crisis, adding that the response plan aims to deliver life-saving assistance to 1.3 million earthquake survivors within six months.
The statement emphasized that the earthquake response is being carried out under extremely complex and high-risk conditions.
