French President Macron met with Brazilian President Lula da Silva. Macron emphasized that they believe peace in Ukraine can only be achieved through negotiations where both Russia and Ukraine come together at the same table.

President Macron stated: "Peace is possible, and the international community must act."

He noted that they will work to ensure the success of the Conference of the Parties in Belém and will collaborate with Brazil on initiatives related to climate, biodiversity, oceans, democracy, and economic and agricultural development.

President Macron also announced that Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will make an official visit to France in June.
