Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden made a statement regarding the human rights situation in Iran and the demands of the people.

Frieden noted that the Iranian people have been subjected to decades of repression and the deadly suppression of protests.

Emphasizing that Luxembourg supports the ongoing struggle of the Iranian people for dignity, freedom and human rights, Prime Minister Frieden said, “Luxembourg supports the Iranian people’s ongoing struggle for dignity, freedom and human rights. It is now necessary for the Iranian people to decide their own future, free from violence and repression.”
