IDF: Operation "Am Kalavi" prevented the production of 1,500 ballistic missiles
Jerusalem, March 1 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared the results of Operation "Am Kalavi," which targeted Iran’s missile production capacity.
The IDF stated that the Iranian regime continues to advance its "plan to destroy Israel" and announced that thanks to the successes of Operation "Am Kalavi," the production of at least 1,500 ballistic missiles was prevented.
The IDF reported that a sharp acceleration has recently been detected in the regime’s efforts to restore its missile production capacity.
Prior to the launch of the operation in June, the Intelligence Directorate identified actions indicating that Iran had significantly accelerated its missile production rate and was attempting to produce approximately 8,000 missiles by 2027. According to IDF estimates, before the operation the regime’s missile stockpile was around 3,000 missiles. It was noted that Operation "Am Kalavi" deprived Iran of hundreds of missiles and halted the production of an additional 1,500.
The statement added that since the operation, the Iranian regime has made major efforts to reestablish its production capacity and protect its underground infrastructure. Until the launch of Operation "Harrier’s Roar," production had been at the level of dozens of ballistic missiles per month, but a marked acceleration was observed during the rebuilding process.
The IDF statement said, "The possession of missiles by a regime that seeks to destroy the State of Israel constitutes an existential threat. The Israel Defense Forces will not allow the Iranian terrorist regime to regain its military capabilities and will continue to act to eliminate any threat that may arise against the citizens of the State of Israel, anywhere and at any time."
