Grandi: More than 10 million Ukrainians have fled bombs, rockets, and destruction
Geneva, February 24 (Hibya) – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, stated that more than 10 million Ukrainians have fled bombs, rockets, and destruction over three years of devastating war.
UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Grandi, emphasized that over 10 million Ukrainians were forced to flee from bombs, rockets, and destruction during three years of war.
However, he noted that the attachment to their homeland remains strong, adding: “Many want to return if a just peace is achieved. In the meantime, we at UNHCR remain on the ground to deliver vital assistance to those in need.”
