Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Saidov met with his Omani counterpart Al-Busaidi
Tashkent, February 24 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Saidov expressed his satisfaction with meeting his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, at the ministry.
Saidov emphasized that Uzbekistan and Oman have a deep historical heritage and have made significant contributions to Islamic civilization, adding:
“We support strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. Today, we exchanged views on various initiatives aimed at further developing our cooperation and elevating our relations to a new level.”
Saidov also stated that he and his counterpart discussed preparations for the “Gulf Cooperation Council - Central Asia” strategic dialogue summit of heads of state, scheduled to be held in May in Samarkand, noting: “Our future agenda is rich in communication at different levels and aims to foster further exchanges.”
