United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres stated that young people are committed to building more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable societies, calling for them to be equipped with the skills required in a changing world to create a better future for everyone.

Highlighting the mission undertaken by young people, Guterres said, "As innovators, leaders, and agents of change, young people aspire to build more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities and societies."

Calling on the global community, Guterres said, "Let us equip young people with the skills our changing world demands so that they can help build a better tomorrow for everyone."
