Guterres: These sufferings cannot be allowed to continue
New York, January 16 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres drew attention to the humanitarian crisis caused by conflicts worldwide.
UN Secretary-General Guterres said, “Conflicts have trapped millions of people around the world in cycles of violence, hunger, and displacement.”
Stressing that the humanitarian suffering cannot continue, Guterres stated, “These sufferings cannot be allowed to continue.”
Calling on the international community, Guterres added, “We must remain determined in our efforts for a just peace grounded in international law and human rights.”
