Hegseth: We will continue working with ASEAN for a secure region
Cebu, October 28 (Hibya) - US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that he met with defense ministers and heads of delegations from the 11 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said in a statement that he was honored to meet with the defense ministers and heads of delegations from the 11 ASEAN member states.
Hegseth stated that the US Department of Defense would continue working with ASEAN partners to ensure regional stability and security. He also thanked Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro for hosting the meeting.
