Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said in a statement that he held a productive meeting with Finnish Parliament Speaker Jussi Halla-aho to discuss strengthening Ukraine-Finland relations, expanding interparliamentary cooperation and advancing shared priorities.

Sybiha said he provided information during the meeting on developments on the front lines, Russia's attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians, and diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace.

Describing Finland as a reliable friend and partner of Ukraine, Sybiha emphasized that the Finnish Parliament's solidarity with Ukraine is of great importance to his country. He also noted that the Nordic countries and Ukraine share similar approaches to the challenges facing Ukraine.
