High-level diplomatic phone traffic from Qatar
Doha, May 26 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister discussed regional developments and mediation efforts with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Jordan.
Al Thani held a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the call, relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen cooperation were discussed. Mediation efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions were also evaluated.
On the same day, Al Thani also held separate phone conversations with UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
The talks focused on supporting mediation initiatives, reducing tensions, and strengthening regional stability.
