IDF continues operations in the Gaza Strip
Jerusalem, May 24 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continue their operations across the Gaza Strip against terrorist organizations under the leadership of the Southern Command and in coordination with the Military Intelligence Unit and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
According to a statement from the IDF, in response to yesterday’s rocket attack from northern Gaza towards the Ashkelon area, Israeli warplanes targeted and destroyed the launch pad from which the attack was carried out.
As part of the “Chariots of Gideon” operation, IDF units active in the region over the last 24 hours neutralized terrorist elements in various clashes. Additionally, booby-trapped military structures, aboveground and underground terrorist infrastructures, and anti-tank positions were destroyed.
The Israeli Air Force conducted airstrikes on more than 100 targets across Gaza in the past 24 hours. Targets included members of terrorist groups, military structures, underground tunnels, and other terrorist infrastructure.
