The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that an operation was carried out against Hamas weapons and ammunition storage facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF stated that Southern Command forces, with aerial support, targeted three separate Hamas military storage sites.

According to the statement, the depots contained explosives, long-barreled weapons, sniper rifles, and various military equipment.

It was also reported that approximately 10 pickup trucks used by Hamas were destroyed in one of the storage facilities.

The military equipment was alleged to have been prepared for use in attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.

The statement also said: "Forces of the IDF Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue their operations to eliminate all immediate threats in the region."
