IDF says it killed a Hezbollah member in Lebanon
Jerusalem, September 7 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that one person was killed in a clash between soldiers and a Hezbollah member in the Beaufort area of southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the IDF said that a Hezbollah member opened fire on soldiers from a building while a unit from the Golani Brigade was conducting a search in the Beaufort area.
The statement said the soldiers returned fire and killed the Hezbollah member. The Israeli army also reported that it carried out an operation in the area in response to the attack.
