Tanzania and Türkiye strengthen cooperation in healthcare
Dodoma, September 7 (Hibya) - As part of health cooperation between Tanzania and Türkiye, a medical camp is being held at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma with the participation of Turkish and Tanzanian healthcare specialists.
According to a statement from Tanzania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish specialists are working alongside doctors at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital as part of a program carried out in cooperation with the Tanzanian Embassy in Ankara, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and Can Veren Eller.
The program provides advanced healthcare services, includes minimally invasive surgical procedures, and facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience among healthcare professionals. The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and Türkiye in the fields of health, technology and professional skills.
