Qatar participates in Arab League meeting
Doha, September 7 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatar participated in the 166th regular session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level. Regional developments and issues related to the national security of Arab countries were discussed at the meeting.
According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Qatari delegation at the meeting held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo was headed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
The meeting discussed, in particular, tensions stemming from Iran and attacks targeting some Arab countries, as well as Israeli attacks and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Syria, along with issues related to Arab national security.
