Iran reaches agreement with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz
Tehran, August 30 (Hibya) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Tehran had reached an agreement with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz and that there was no rush to reopen the strait.
According to CCTV, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Tehran had reached an agreement with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz and that there was no rush to reopen the strait.
Gharibabadi stated that the agreement would not move to the implementation stage unless the United States fulfilled its obligations.
Stating that the Strait of Hormuz is currently completely closed, Gharibabadi said that no vessel would be able to pass through the strait without coordination with and permission from Iran.
