Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a congratulatory message to the government and people of India on Independence Day.

In a statement posted on the ministry’s social media account, the Islamic Republic of Iran said it extended its “sincere congratulations to the friendly government and people” on the occasion of the Republic of India’s Independence Day.

The statement emphasized the continued commitment to developing relations between the two countries, noting that the aim is to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and benefit.
