Iranian and Russian foreign ministers discuss regional developments and nuclear cooperation
Tehran, October 20 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reported that during his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Tehran, they discussed regional developments spanning Europe and West Asia, as well as expanding economic and nuclear cooperation.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a social media post that he had hosted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Tehran and that the talks between the two countries addressed regional developments.
Araghchi said the meeting covered developments in Europe and West Asia, particularly in Lebanon, Palestine, Ukraine and Yemen, adding that the discussions also focused on expanding economic and nuclear cooperation.
Araghchi stated that relations between Iran and Russia had reached their closest level of cooperation in history.
