Mixed performance in global bond markets
Istanbul, October 20 (Hibya) - Ten-year government bond yields showed a mixed performance across global markets. Yields on US, Japanese and UK bonds declined, while German and French bond yields rose.
The yield on the US 10-year Treasury note fell by 1.3 basis points to 5.123 percent, while Japan's 10-year government bond yield declined by 0.3 basis points to 2.904 percent. The yield on the UK's 10-year government bond dropped by 0.45 basis points to 5.4324 percent.
Germany's 10-year bond yield increased by 0.94 basis points to 3.4631 percent, while France's 10-year bond yield rose by 1.69 basis points to 4.9394 percent.
