Iranian delegation in Islamabad
Islamabad, April 10 (Hibya) - A high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, including Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, arrived in Islamabad for official talks and was received at the state level by Pakistani officials.
A high-level Iranian delegation led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Pakistan to participate in official meetings to be held in Islamabad.
Upon arrival in the capital, the delegation was welcomed by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
The meetings are expected to establish a constructive dialogue between the parties and strengthen diplomatic contacts aimed at resolving current regional issues. The Pakistani administration reiterated its commitment to maintaining its facilitating role and keeping dialogue channels open.
The meetings that began in Islamabad are expected to continue throughout the day.
