Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi meets with his Chinese counterpart
Tehran, December 28 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chinese Foreign Minister.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi traveled to Beijing, the capital of China, for his first official bilateral visit outside the region.
Araghchi stated that the meetings with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi were highly productive, covering a wide range of bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest:
“As comprehensive strategic partners, Iran and China are determined to deepen their bilateral ties for the well-being of their peoples and contribute further to the rule of law, peace, and security at the international level by expanding close consultations.”
