Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi met with his Bahraini counterpart in Geneva
Geneva, February 26 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
According to the ministry's statement, Araghchi emphasized Iran's commitment to developing relations with all neighboring and regional countries based on good neighborliness and mutual interests.
The statement added:
"Araghchi highlighted the serious threat posed by the Zionist regime's expansion and aggression in occupied Palestine and other regional countries. He called on all regional countries and the Islamic world to work towards stopping Israel’s genocidal plan and the erasure of Palestine. He also regarded the upcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Foreign Ministers as a significant opportunity for united action against the colonial plan to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza."
