Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei met with Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan
Tehran, July 31 (Hibya) - Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has a clear and firm policy to expand relations with its neighbors, especially with Armenia.
Khamenei stressed the importance of preserving Armenia's territorial integrity, stating that Iran views the Zangezur corridor as harmful to Armenia and reaffirmed its firm stance on this issue.
Khamenei said, "We condemn the insults directed at the great figures of divine religions, especially Jesus."
Pashinyan described the relations between Iran and Armenia as strategic and expressed his satisfaction with the expansion and diversification of relations between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of continuing this positive trend.
