Iran's Revolutionary Guards announce new retaliatory attacks on U.S. bases
Tehran, July 25 (Hibya) – Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had carried out retaliatory attacks against U.S. bases and military assets in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Erbil in Iraq.
According to CCTV, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had launched retaliatory attacks against U.S. bases and military assets in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Erbil, Iraq. A statement released through the IRGC's official news agency, Sepah News, said the operations were conducted in response to U.S. actions against Iran.
The statement claimed that an airstrike on Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan caused heavy damage to numerous U.S. military aircraft and struck barracks housing U.S. personnel, resulting in casualties. It also stated that ammunition depots and accommodation facilities at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait were targeted by suicide drones, while facilities of the U.S. Fifth Fleet and communications infrastructure in Bahrain were also struck.
Finally, it was reported that during surprise operations against U.S. positions in Erbil, Iraq, a Patriot air defense system and a surveillance balloon were destroyed, while areas where soldiers were stationed were also targeted.
