Israel launched a rare attack on downtown Beirut
Stockholm, September 30 (Hibya) – As new attacks occur in Lebanon and Yemen, Israel launched a rare attack on downtown Beirut.
While Israel's airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen continue, if confirmed, the attack will be the first by Israel on the center of Lebanon's capital since 2006.
A Palestinian militant group announced that three of its leaders were killed in the Israeli attack on downtown Beirut early Monday morning. The Israeli army, striking downtown Beirut for the first time since 2006, has expanded its attacks on Iran's allies in Lebanon and Yemen.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), one of the militant groups fighting against Israel, said that three senior leaders were killed in the Beirut attack. Initial footage from the scene shows two floors of a building completely blown up, with onlookers running towards the building.
