Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Attorney General said on Thursday: "An investigation must be launched into suspicions of witness harassment and obstruction of justice related to the findings of the 'Uvda' program, aired last week on Israel's Channel 12."

On Thursday, Channel 12 reported that Sara Netanyahu allegedly intimidated a witness in her husband's criminal case.

The report also claims that Sara Netanyahu indirectly harassed the Attorney General and her deputies.

Hours before the investigation was ordered, Prime Minister Netanyahu defended his wife in a video statement released by his office on Thursday, calling Channel 12's report "biased" and "false propaganda."

Netanyahu added: "I would like to see Channel 12 or other provocative channels investigate the left camp. But don't count on it. It won't happen."

Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin criticized the Attorney General's decision, saying, "The extremely selective enforcement has once again shown its ugly face."

On Thursday, Levin wrote on social media platform X: "While Israeli citizens expect anyone who threatens the police chief or calls for defiance to be questioned, [the Attorney General] and the state prosecutor are busy investigating television rumors."
