Israeli Foreign Ministry publishes condolence message for Eliot Engel
Jerusalem, April 11 (Hibya) - The Israeli Foreign Ministry expressed sorrow over the death of former U.S. Congressman Eliot Engel and recalled his contributions to strengthening ties between the United States and Israel.
In its statement, the Israeli Foreign Ministry extended condolences to Engel’s family and loved ones.
The statement said:
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Eliot Engel, a true friend of Israel and a lifelong public servant. Throughout his many years in Congress, he worked tirelessly to strengthen the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those who had the honor of working with him."
