Dutch Prime Minister Jetten discussed with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud the latest developments regarding the conflict in and around Iran and the recent escalation.

Expressing his solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Jetten said: «Iran must stop its attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas facilities in Gulf countries. It is also of great importance that Iran lifts the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible.»

Jetten also stated that the strong and historic ties between the countries were briefly discussed and that they agreed to remain in contact in the near future.
