Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The foreign ministers of Qatar, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates held a consultative meeting in Riyadh regarding Iran’s attacks.

The meeting addressed Iran’s attacks against Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Jordan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

The ministers stated that the attacks carried out with ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles targeted residential areas, civilian infrastructure, oil facilities, airports and diplomatic missions, and condemned these attacks.

The ministers emphasized that these attacks cannot be justified in any way and called on Iran to immediately stop its attacks.

They noted that states have the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and stressed the need to comply with international law and the principles of good neighborliness.

The ministers stated that the future of relations with Iran depends on respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, emphasizing that military capabilities should not be used in a way that threatens the region.

They also stressed the need to avoid steps that could threaten maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.

The ministers reiterated their support for Lebanon’s security and territorial integrity and also condemned Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
