Kallas: Europe stands in solidarity with Italy during this difficult time
Brussels, October 29 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas expressed her sorrow over the loss of life in an accident involving a helicopter belonging to the EU peacekeeping force EUFOR near the Brčko region of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kallas extended her condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone affected by the accident. Noting that EUFOR personnel serve to support peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kallas emphasized that their work remains important.
Kallas stated that she had conveyed her condolences to Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, stressing that Europe stands in solidarity with Italy during this difficult time.
Kallas also noted that they remain in close contact with the EUFOR Commander and EU representatives on the ground.
