US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen signed a Technology and Prosperity Agreement and a Critical Minerals Framework Agreement aimed at strengthening economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

In a statement following the signing of the agreements, Rubio said, "We signed a Technology and Prosperity Agreement and a Critical Minerals Framework Agreement that will strengthen our economic and strategic cooperation."

Rubio welcomed Finland's partnership in the field of critical minerals and highlighted the country's commitment to maintaining defense investments over the long term. He emphasized that Finland's cooperation in these areas would contribute to stronger economic and strategic relations between the two countries.
