Kallas: My thoughts are with the families of the passengers in the US
Rome, January 30 (Hibya) – The European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, expressed her condolences to the families of the passengers affected by the accident in the United States.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, along with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, made statements regarding the collision between a passenger plane and a military helicopter in Washington.
Kallas said she was shocked to learn of this tragic accident: "In this heartbreaking moment, my thoughts are with the families of the passengers, the crew, and the soldiers on board."
Tajani also expressed his support for the US government and people, saying: "Italy stands by the families of the victims. Our prayers are with you."
