According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev received Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Austrian Federal Minister of the Interior Gerhard Karner during their official visit to Kazakhstan.

Kosherbayev said, “Today, we discussed key areas of Kazakh-Austrian cooperation and identified new horizons for collaboration. Austria is an important partner for Kazakhstan within the European Union.”

During the meetings, it was noted that progress had been made in implementing visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic passports and readmission agreements, creating additional opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation.
