Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar referred to United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 1701.

Stating that UN resolutions were not being implemented, Saar said, “UN Security Council Resolution 1701 stipulates that Hezbollah terrorists should not be present south of the Litani River, and it is the Lebanese government that has failed to implement this resolution.”

Arguing that Israel has no border or territorial ambitions toward Lebanon, Saar stated, “Israel has no territorial claims in Lebanon. Since Israel withdrew from Lebanon in 2000, it has been systematically attacked from Lebanese territory by Hezbollah, which is controlled by Iran.”

Claiming that the primary purpose of military operations in southern Lebanon is border security, Saar said, “Israel’s activities in southern Lebanon are aimed solely at protecting its citizens from Hezbollah attacks and eliminating the terror kingdom established there.”

Minister Saar concluded his remarks by claiming that the current crisis in the region is the result of the Beirut administration’s actions, stating:

“This is the result of the Lebanese government’s complete failure to fulfill its commitments.”
