Lahbib: Europe should be a place where everyone belongs
Strasbourg, May 19 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that they discussed the EU’s efforts in combating discrimination and racism during a meeting with the Minorities Group in Strasbourg.
EU Commissioner Hadja Lahbib made a statement regarding her meetings in Strasbourg and the policies carried out for minority rights.
Stating that the meeting was very productive, Lahbib said, “We had excellent meetings with the Minorities Group in Strasbourg. We share the same belief: Europe should be a place where everyone belongs.”
Drawing attention to the strategies being implemented and the efforts for social integration, Lahbib concluded her statement with the words: “We are proud to present the EU’s work on combating discrimination, Roma integration, and the fight against racism.”
