Lahbib: Syria faces both major challenges and tremendous opportunities
Brussels, 8 December (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that Syria is facing both significant challenges and immense opportunities.
EU Commissioner Hadja Lahbib noted that after more than a decade of conflict and repression, Syria is confronted with major difficulties as well as major opportunities.
Emphasizing the fragility of the situation, Lahbib said: “For us Europeans, it is vital to support the stability, dignity and rights of all Syrian people.”
