Sybiha: I was honored to inaugurate the Auxiliary Consulate of Ukraine
Rzeszow, 8 December (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that the newly opened Auxiliary Consulate in Rzeszow will deepen regional cooperation with Poland.
Foreign Minister Sybiha announced that, following the instructions of President Volodymyr Zelensky, they officially inaugurated the Ukrainian Auxiliary Consulate in Rzeszow.
Sybiha said: “I was honored to officially inaugurate the Ukrainian Auxiliary Consulate in Rzeszow. This opening will strengthen support for our citizens and deepen regional cooperation.”
He noted that the new consular office in Rzeszow is the sixth Ukrainian consular mission in Poland, adding: “There are four border crossings between Ukraine and Poland in the consular region, which enables us to enhance our support for Ukrainian citizens and further advance cross-border cooperation.”
During the opening ceremony, Sybiha thanked the Polish people and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, for the partnership that deepens relations between the two countries.
Sybiha added: “The solidarity shown by Rzeszow and the Subcarpathian region is a symbol of humanity, kindness, and belief in the triumph of unity.”
