Silva: The purpose of Bolsa Familia is to support families in need
Brasilia, December 8 (Hibya) – Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva stated that the purpose of the Bolsa Familia program is to support families who are in need.
President Silva emphasized that the aim of the Bolsa Familia program is to provide the necessary assistance to the most vulnerable families.
He added: “In 2014, 7 out of 10 young people who benefited from the Bolsa Família program had exited the program by 2025. This result reflects the essence of the program: supporting the most vulnerable families so they can move forward more securely.”
Highlighting the importance of guaranteeing a dignified future for children, Silva said: “This is the purpose of Bolsa Familia: to support those who need it the most. And our government’s commitment is this: to always stand by the people of Brazil.”
