Moscow, April 14 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed regional tensions in a phone call. Russia emphasized the need to prevent a new armed conflict.
According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a phone call took place on April 13 between Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi. Regional developments and rising tensions were discussed during the call.
The statement noted that the Russian side stressed the importance of preventing a new armed conflict in the region and highlighted the need to resolve the crisis through non-military means.
It was also stated that Russia reiterated its readiness to provide the necessary support to find a peaceful and diplomatic solution to the ongoing crisis.
