Lavrov: Problems between Kabul and Islamabad should be resolved through diplomacy
Moscow, March 6 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call with Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the situation in the region, including the negative and destabilizing consequences caused by the attack on Iran.
The issue of reducing the military and political tensions in relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan was also among the agenda items of the meeting.
Regarding the resolution of problems between Kabul and Islamabad, Lavrov emphasized that disagreements between Kabul and Islamabad should be resolved through political and diplomatic means.
