In his statement, Lazzarini said: "Babies in Gaza are dying from cold and lack of shelter. Meanwhile, blankets, mattresses, and other winter supplies have been stuck on land routes for months awaiting approval to enter Gaza. A ceasefire is urgently needed to allow the entry of essential supplies, especially to Gaza."
