UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that continuous bombings have been ongoing in Gaza for more than three weeks, and the death toll is rising.

"Our staff report that they cannot find food, water, or medical assistance," Lazzarini said. "The smell of death is everywhere, with bodies lying in the middle of the roads or under the rubble. Tasks to clear the bodies or provide humanitarian aid are being rejected. People in Northern Gaza are only waiting for death. They feel abandoned, desperate, and alone. They live in constant fear of death, moving from one hour to the next."
