Leyen: We have taken strong steps towards the integration of new member states
Brussels, October 30 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that they have taken strong steps towards the integration of new member states in recent years.
EU Commission President Leyen emphasized that in today’s global context, reuniting the continent around common values such as democracy and the rule of law is more urgent than ever.
Noting that strong steps have been taken in recent years towards the integration of new member states, Leyen said, “Enlargement will continue to be the top priority for the new Commission.”
