Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys conveyed a message of solidarity and support in his Christmas message.

Budrys stated: “Today, I also extend my sincerest Christmas wishes to the resilient people of Ukraine. Your dignity, unity, and unwavering determination to defend your country, your freedom, and your national identity reflect the true spirit of Ukraine.”

Emphasizing those fighting for Ukraine’s freedom, Budrys said: “May this Christmas give strength to every defender of Ukraine’s freedom and help you continue working with determination until a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace is achieved.”

Budrys concluded his statement by saying: “Lithuania will always stand by you. Merry Christmas!”
